Radio Frequency sealing or RF sealing is a manufacturing method of electronically welding two pieces of materials together, usually vinyl type material, to either encapsulate, assemble, or protect another product. The heat sealing process is a cost effective method for both low and high volume production. RF sealed products have a variety of applications in today's market. Current production includes RF sealing pressure sensitive thin switches used in detecting presence in hospital beds and wheelchairs.
